I stayed here using a shareholder benefit. First of all, I think it's a great plus that the baths in the rooms use the same hot spring water as the large public bath. The lobby area with a foot bath, the welcome drink and sweets, and the musical performances all left a very satisfying impression with the hotel's services. As everyone has mentioned, the buffet was lavish, and the seasonally changing menu was delicious. It may be difficult to do so given the large number of dishes, but I think it would be even better if they offered higher quality options, such as more local vegetables and meat. The large public baths, especially Tenyu-no-Yu on the 6th floor, had amazing views, and I wish I could have stayed longer. Lastly, I actually forgot a small item, so I called and they found it that night and sent it safely to my home. It was very small and hard to find, so I had almost given up, but thank you so much for looking for it. I would definitely stay here again.

It was a very interesting stay. The wide variety of welcome drinks was uplifting. The authentic amazake (sweet sake) was especially delicious and really helped to soothe our travel fatigue. My husband was delighted with the sparkling wine. The room was larger than it appears in the photos, with a spacious feel. It was clean and comfortable. Relaxing in the bath on the balcony was great. Being able to freely add hot and cold water was convenient, and the quality of the water was excellent. The staff were all smiling and attentive, making it easy to ask questions and a comfortable stay. The evening buffet had a wide variety of seafood, and the sushi and roast beef were especially delicious. The side dishes were generally too strong in flavor for my liking. As someone who prefers lighter foods and doesn't drink alcohol, it was difficult to eat. Overall, I was satisfied, but it wasn't perfect, so I probably won't return. It might have been a good deal for two adults, but since I was staying with two elementary school-aged children, I felt it wasn't very cost-effective. The reason is that the room size is the same whether you're traveling with two adults or a family, children don't eat as much at the buffet, but the price is almost double. Next time, I'll stay at the Kowakien Hotel next door.

The buffet had a wide selection of dishes, and I was pleased with the all-you-can-eat salmon roe option. I visited in August, and it seemed like there were a lot of foreign customers.
