I stayed for one night. The bathtub was full of dirt, and although it seemed like the room was cleaned properly, there was a half-empty bottle under the bed, and mold on the tea stand, cushions, and curtains. There was also hair in the toilet before use, and a lot of hair around the room. I used the public bath, but it was completely rusty and terrible... I opened the dresser and found the futon lying around haphazardly. In general, I felt that the room was not cleaned properly and that the cleaning practices were very lax. Breakfast was good, but most of the ingredients at dinner seemed processed or frozen. Also, the meat at dinner probably wasn't very hygienic. The front desk staff's service was also poor. They were grinning and said it was an internal matter, which made me very angry. Also, when I first got there, they said the tea would be shared within the hotel, but when I talked to the front desk staff about it, they didn't even apologize, which I thought was strange. The service was poor. Given the price, the service was disappointing. I had been looking forward to this stay for a month, so it's very disappointing.

I am glad to choose this hotel as my accommodation during my trip to Hakuba this year. I see alot comment about downside of this hotel such as old and rundown. However it is not true at all. This is a very standard Japanese style hotel where u realy enjoy the typical local style hotel. Room is spacious, quiet, comfortable and clean. The onsen is very good as well. Huge parking lot, good breakfast (not the best but good enough), ski-in ski-out , ski rental, locker and ski school are all well prepared . Don’t even need to step out from hotel during my stay as the hotel has everything I need. So many facilities that I can’t even enjoy everything here. Shops and restaurants and other ski resort are nearby if you have a car. I will definitely back to this hotel for longer stay next winter .
