I have stayed here a few times with my Wife and dog, Its been great every time. Last night (15/3/26) was exceptional. I had been let down by an air bnb in the area as I had to rush up for a family emergency, I called the hotel at 1am and asked if they had room for my wife and me. I spoke to the night receptionist I believe was called Hurley. What a phenomenal member of the team here, they were compassionate relaxed and so friendly, helped me with a bunch of questions and truly brought a smile to our faces on a day which had been very tough. Nothing was too much. For the price of this hotel I have no idea why anyone could complain. Again I want to just thank Hurley for the open welcome and friendly face behind the desk.

A fantastic hotel with very friendly staff. Very clean, spacious rooms, and a comfortable bed. It deserves more stars. The breakfast buffet was decent, typical Scottish fare. The location isn't ideal if you don't have a car, but in our case, it was unbeatable, as we enjoyed peace and quiet, beautiful scenery, and a good price. Free parking was another plus.
