⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an absolutely amazing stay at Hampton Inn & Suites Reno West! From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The hotel is very clean, modern, and beautifully maintained. Our room was incredibly spacious and comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The bed was especially comfortable — we slept so well after a long day. The staff were also outstanding — friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. Their hospitality really made the whole experience even better. Breakfast in the morning was another nice touch. While there weren’t a huge number of options, everything was fresh and pretty good. I especially loved that they had my favorite Chobani yogurt, which made my morning! Sometimes it’s the little things that make a stay even better. The location is also great — it’s in a peaceful, quieter area but still very convenient to reach the main parts of Reno. Overall, this was one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well managed. We would absolutely stay here again when visiting Reno. Highly recommend!

This is for anyone who is in a wheelchair they have rooms that are big enough for a wheelchair, medical equipment and maneuvering around, which we really appreciated. Since we have medical equipment, we have to take that with us when we're traveling as I am quadiplegic. We checked out a bit late.We asked for a 1 hour delay and we finally rolled out about 15-30 min late. We got down the road and I started to have tremendous bladder pressure. So we turned around, went back to the same hotel. We told them that we had a bit of a medical emergency. And we needed to check back in and we agreed to pay $225, and we always keep our agreements. We went to our new room, tried to irrigate, my catheter and it would not budge which told us that it was plugged up. So we had to do a catheter change and that takes a bit of time. We went downstairs to check out, and I asked if there was some way to be compensated because it was a medical emergency. And she said, no, and I said, even for a medical emergency. And she said, no, and I found that to be lacking in compassion. So, be aware. Also, the dispensers for shower gel, shampoo and conditioner are too high for wheelchair uses. So, you'll need another pair of hands to assist you.

I stayed at Hampton Inn & Suites Reno West on Monday and Tuesday nights for a business trip and booked it the same afternoon on the Hilton app. I was checked in about 30 minutes later when I arrived, which felt like a small win on a work travel day. The staff was friendly from the start, and the hotel sits on the west side of Reno with easy access off I-80, so getting in and out was simple. My room was comfortable and pleasantly quiet overall, and the bed was legitimately good—I slept well when the room stayed at the temperature I wanted. The hotel was also in the middle of a remodel during my stay, but I didn’t deal with noise or chaos, and it didn’t affect my ability to rest or get out the door on time. The main issue was the AC system. It kept resetting about every two hours to 76 degrees, which yanked me out of sleep more than once. That’s the kind of thing that sounds minor until it happens at 2:00 a.m. and again at 4:00 a.m. Breakfast looked like the usual Hilton spread, so I passed and grabbed something else. Even with the thermostat battle, I’d stay here again for a comfortable, convenient business stop. 4/5 stars.
