Hotel was fine overall. Easy access and check-in. Room was clean and well-maintained. Breakfast was as-expected. It would have otherwise be a 4 or 5-star experience, but the pool and hot tub were down (in a ski country hotel in mid-season), with a sign from management saying that it had "just" happened (though the sign appeared to be weeks of months old), and that parts were on order. I understand things break, but a hot tub in a ski-town hotel is a pretty significant amenity, meriting at least some prior notification or offsetting compensation.

Hot tub and pool closed for maintenance 🙄. King bed is too soft. Hot water is limited, at least on the fifth floor. Standard Hampton Inn breakfast, nothing special. Decent location, need to drive most places. Decent views. Nice spacious exercise room. Friendly host, efficient room cleaning. Overpriced.

Extremely Disappointing and Unacceptable Experience. As frequent Hilton guests, this was without question the worst experience we have ever encountered at any Hilton property. We arrived genuinely excited for what we expected to be a pleasant stay. Instead, we were immediately met with a defensive and unwelcoming attitude from the manager at the front desk. There was an evident internal miscommunication within their team, as we were provided with incorrect pricing information prior to arrival. Despite the hotel’s mistake, we approached the situation calmly and respectfully, simply seeking clarification and a reasonable solution. Unfortunately, the manager was dismissive, rude, and completely unwilling to take accountability. Rather than de-escalating the situation or offering customer-focused solutions, she escalated it further with an unprofessional tone and attitude. We were then told we would be charged for one night due to a cancellation even though we had previously confirmed over the phone with the front desk that no charge would apply. When we referenced that prior conversation, it was ignored. Instead of working toward resolution, we were essentially told to leave. This experience demonstrated a serious lack of leadership, customer service, and professionalism. A manager’s role is to resolve issues, not intensify them. We ultimately chose to leave and were able to secure accommodations at another hotel just 10 minutes away, where we were treated with respect and professionalism from the start. This location does not reflect the standards we expect from the Hilton brand. We strongly recommend considering other nearby options to avoid a similar experience.
