I recently stayed at the Hampton Inn by Hilton South location, booking two rooms for our group. While the staff was generally helpful, the physical condition of the rooms was far below what I expect from the Hilton brand. Room #1 Issues: Upon checking in, we found both bedside lamps had burnt-out bulbs. It made the room incredibly dark while we were trying to settle in. Maintenance did come and replace them quickly, but it’s something housekeeping should have caught. More concerning was the general state of the room: baseboard tiles were coming loose and the wallpaper was peeling. The biggest issue, however, was the shower floor. It had huge cracks that made us feel very uneasy about using it due to hygiene concerns. We didn't notice the extent of the damage until the morning of our departure, and since we were right at check-out, it wasn't worth the hassle of switching rooms then. It was a major disappointment. Room #2 Issues: This room had its own set of problems. The thermostat control was completely missing from the wall, leaving only two exposed wires to adjust the temperature. Having major maintenance issues in both rooms ranging from aesthetic wear to safety and hygiene concerns made for a very unsatisfying stay. For the price and the brand name, I expected a room that was fully intact and functional. We likely won't be returning to this specific location

Room was really clean and big! Decor is a bit vintage. The 2 day stay was great. Breakfast was included and was so good!!! Something for everyone one.
