This hotel was in a great location if you’re visiting Charleston for the first time, everything was walkable within a 5-10 minute distance. The rooms were dated but the service and especially Kathy and Mitch at the front desk were amazing. Kathy was a girls girl who immediately complimented us and cheered for us on our way out to enjoy our first night while Mitch had waters waiting for us when we got back. Thank you both for the wonderful hospitality!

I stayed recently for four nights. The location was very nice. The dash free bus was right across the street in addition to the visitor center. Many restaurants were steps away. My room was super clean, which was appreciated. The room had some vintage Hampton Inn accoutrements especially in the bathroom, but was spacious and adequately appointed. The tray style coffee machine in the room could be approved upon. Perhaps put the Keurig style coffee makers in. Checking in was less than stellar. I was rushed and some of my questions ignored. The person that checked me in, didn’t seem to understand information available regarding the surrounding area. Perhaps she was being trained. She abruptly left the desk and someone else had to help me.

Solid hotel choice in historic Charleston. Staff was super friendly. Free breakfast was great and more than just continental options. 24 hour coffee available in the lobby. Great location close to many sights with a DASH/Carta stop across the street along with the Charleston visitor center and Charlotte Museum. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again if I come back to Charleston.
