Quiet area, nice rooms.

As expected… Another Hilton hotel sacrificing the comfort of their guests to save a buck. Expect NO SHOWER PRESSURE! They use water restricting show heads to save money on their water bill. The end result is a minor spray you barely feel. The shower head itself has multiple water output configurations, none of which giving off pressure. Yet their toilet holds 3 gallons of water to flush. Hey Hilton, maybe get smaller tanks that do the same job as those 3 gallon toilets and add a shower head that actually gives you the impression that your taking a shower where I’m not standing under a flowering can. This may not be a big deal to some but certainly to most. Hence the removal of 1 star. But there’s 2 stars removed. The other was for their motion sensor thermostat. Expect to wake up in a sweat because unless you create motion, the A/C unit stops working to save money on the electric bill YOUR PAYING FOR. Does Hilton honestly think that people, while they book, say to themselves “geez, I really hope this hotel saves money where the A/C turns off in the middle of night while I’m sleeping and it’s 85 degrees outside. I really want to wake up with my bed soaked in sweat with me in it”. Checking in was fine but the individual behind the desk looked like she didn’t want to be there where her demeanor showed. I couldn’t give you a review of the food as I didnt get the opportunity to try it. The room itself was okay. If you close the front door though, there is light that seeps in which means that you can be heard from the inside of the room and can hear people from the outside. It wasent that big of a deal for me but might be for others. You would think they would insulate their doors TO SAVE MONEY so their A/C units don’t work extra hard cooling the room as well as the hallway. I took off an additional star because the decor is rather dated as their carpets are probably just as old as the hotel which isn’t a big deal but certainly doesn’t warrant a pat on the back either. Maybe I’m used to it as most locations use the same style decor as is true with their soaps. Most Hilton’s use a brand called “zero”. Only a small handful use other brands. I’m guessing the hotels get a break on the price (again saving money) to utilize this brand. Would I stay here again? The chances are extremely low. If this was my only option then yes. Otherwise, I would go with Marriott, Hyatt, or maybe even LaQuinta. It all depends on the circumstances.
