Very clean and well equipped hotel with a friendly staff. Unfortunately, the stay was marred by my door rattling every time somebody entered or exited the building. We stayed in room 143, so good luck sleeping.

A Note on Customer Discretion — or the Lack of It I'm writing this not as someone who stayed here, but as someone who wanted to — and won't be back. My wife and I had booked an overnight stay in Lancaster so our 3-year-old could visit her cousins. The day before our trip, our daughter came down with a fever and was clearly too sick to travel. Beyond her comfort, I wasn't going to expose my brother's family to a contagious, miserable child. We reached out through Chase (how we booked) to ask whether the hotel would consider an exception to their no-refund policy given the circumstances. The response was to point us back to the policy — and to offer us the ability to change the name on the reservation, which, in this situation, helped no one. I understand non-refundable bookings. I booked one knowingly. What I didn't anticipate was zero goodwill when a genuine, straightforward situation arose. A sick toddler isn't a scheduling preference — it's the kind of thing most businesses recognize and respond to with some basic flexibility. We visit Lancaster at least six times a year. That's a lot of nights that will now go elsewhere, to hotels that understand that how you treat customers in difficult moments is the truest measure of hospitality. I hope this feedback is useful to someone making a booking decision.

Rooms seem smaller than average. Bathroom counter is barely large enough to fit everyday stuff, definitely too small to bring your clothes in there. Shower is narrow. My arms touched on both sides. Breakfast is good. But that is only upside. For the price of the rooms I was expecting it to be nicer.
