Unfortunately, check-in and check-out always take forever. You book everything online and then have to fill everything out again. It's also a shame that there's only one check-in desk staffed, even though they know people are arriving.

We stayed at the Hard Rock for one night over New Year's Eve, and our stay started with a 30-minute wait at reception for our room keys. We had reserved a spa slot for that day, which we unfortunately couldn't use due to the long wait. One reception desk with only two employees for two hotels on New Year's Eve and during the Spenglers Cup is simply insufficient. The room was an okay size, but somewhat dated. There was a large wet patch on the carpet, the duvet was dirty, and there was standing water on the bathroom windowsill. Our room door rattled whenever a door in the hallway opened and closed. There was no bowl or towel for our dog. The service in the restaurant was okay, but some of the staff seemed overwhelmed. We were among the first in the restaurant and had to wait 15 minutes for our drink orders to be taken. Our room was directly below the reception desk, and there was a DJ playing until 2:00 AM that evening. The loud music and bass kept us awake for ages. Even at breakfast, the service staff seemed stressed and disorganized.
