If I had written this review maybe even a year ago, my rating would be higher. Things here have only gotten worse though. One of the glaring issues here is the mold. It's in the acs and more than likely inside of the walls. This is not helped by the fact that the rooms have poor ventilation, especially the bathrooms. I and several other residents here have gotten sick from it. And if you're around you can hear the respiratory issues people are having. Another thing, they do not properly clean their rooms. I've found odd stains on what are supposed to be clean sheets, had to wipe the floor because being barefoot in the room for even an hour left my feet black, had to spend what felt like hours scrubbing the shower because of the grime. Oh but they love paying for yard maintenance on their grass. Doesn't even look good. Photos here are misleading too, doesn't look that nice here anymore. Back to my point on respiratory issues, they seem to encourage smoking. Almost every ac has an ashtray on it. I've no real issue in regards to the people that stay here, I'm much more comfortable with them than front desk. And the fact that kids feel safe enough to play outside is good enough for me. Expect rudeness from front desk if you have difficulties or disabilities/health issues. My partner is hard of hearing in one ear and he expressed that to the men at the front desk, they refused to come closer or speak louder, in fact they rolled their eyes at him. Sometimes they're really good, but there's a level of unprofessionalism that's hard to ignore. It's always been a thing that staff is in the front desk when they feel like it, it's just much more irritating now. The actual main room where the front desk is at is locked, now you have to talk to them through the side window. They leave a sign up that says something along the lines of "We'll be back in 30 mins :)", they're usually not back in that amount of time. I remember this instance where one of the staff was back but the sign was still up and he was just kicking back in his chair doing nothing. Recently a new staff member has joined them and it’s obvious she’s not been properly trained. I asked her for a receipt and she tells me the printer is broken when it’s clear that she just doesn’t know how to work the printer. I’ve come to this conclusion because the printer has always worked before and after that day. I really would not recommend staying here, especially if you have respiratory issues or are generally prone to sickness. The only good thing is that nugget and several amazing restaurants are within walking distance, but that’s just a Davis thing. Please read up on your tenant’s rights if you do decide to stay here long-term. They do not seem to want to recognize said tenant’s rights despite this place offering stay past 30 days.

Horrible experience. I stayed for a week and they never came to clean or change the sheets. The smell of cigarettes was unbearable and the host's service was terrible.
