HIERAPARK THERMAL & SPA HOTEL

We only stayed one night during New Year's week. So I thought it might be a great value-for-money hotel, but it was far below my expectations. At least in our block, I only saw two housekeeping staff trying to clean, and consequently, there were some hygiene and supply deficiencies in the room. There weren't even personal hygiene kits in the room! While these weren't the kinds of things I'd expect in a five-star hotel, I can understand it to some extent given the busy week, but I can't understand the woman, who we later learned was the hotel manager, coming to our door and claiming that supplies had been provided beforehand! Her approach was completely unprofessional and essentially made us look like thieves/liars. On the other hand, the food and drinks are like a student dormitory. There's no variety, the flavors are average, and the funny thing is, all the drinks, including tea, are charged extra at the so-called open buffet dinner. But one floor upstairs, you can get free tea from a samovar in a cardboard cup, just like in a student dorm! As for the other amenities, I think there's a little bit of everything, so you won't be deprived of anything. But there's not even soap in the Turkish bath. People sit in the same places, spilling water all over themselves. From the moment you enter the hotel, you use the same dirty bathrobe they provide, whether it's for the thermal baths, the regular pool, or anywhere else. Even after showering downstairs, you continue using the same dirty bathrobe :) Finally, there's no sound insulation in the rooms or the corridors. Children and adults passing by in the corridor create a separate noise, and the phone ringing in the next room creates another noise. People's conversations are very clearly audible, which is not pleasant at all. I was only pleased with the approach of the other staff, especially Mr. Alihan at the reception. He worked very hard to clear up a misunderstanding in our reservation and ensured we got the room we wanted, and he was very helpful in the lobby. Thank you again, Mr. Alihan.

We've been going to Denizli for thermal baths for years, and although the hotels here advertise a 5-star concept, they're not like that, so we went with low expectations. But unfortunately, it disappointed us again. The buffet was incredibly small; we practically went hungry. The fact that there were olives inside the chocolate bar also made us question the hygiene and how many times the buffet was opened. The staff, including the reception, were friendly and helpful. The pools were small, and the outdoor area wasn't very clean.

The pools are inadequate. The food variety is limited for breakfast and dinner. We vacation at thermal hotels every year, so this aspect is significant; it's insufficient for a 5-star hotel. They didn't provide bathrobes for our child for two days; he had to walk around in towels. The staff said it was very busy, which I think is a very valid and convincing explanation. By the way, the hotel is new and the rooms are clean.
