Absolutely outrageous! We were quoted a different price on the phone before check-in than the one we were charged at check-out. The receptionist didn't ask us about the prices or our details. She also didn't mention the extra charge for the sauna. The heating in the room didn't work! And it was loud. The air conditioner could heat, but only for 20-30 minutes at a time, then it would shut off again, so after what felt like 10 minutes, the digital display showed 17 degrees Celsius. Absolutely not warm enough for outside temperatures of 0 degrees. So, at 2:00 AM, we went to reception to get more blankets or ask for some. The receptionist said she'd have to check if there were any lying around. 🤷‍♂️🤦 So, I went upstairs with four more blankets and had to cover my child with three! 😡 The room is dated. But clean. ... The next morning at 10:00 AM, I was in the shower and realized we didn't have enough towels. I called downstairs and asked them to bring me some right away. They said they would. Later, they claimed they had heard the wrong room number! 🤦🤦🤦 So, no towels arrived! Then we checked out. Nobody knew anything! I wasn't prepared to pay the full price. We weren't charged the price quoted over the phone, which was the same as the one offered on Booking.com, but instead, we were charged €50 more per room. Which I find outrageous. The blonde lady at reception was completely incompetent and even insulted us in front of the hotel manager. He said we had to pay more than what was offered on Booking.com. Because he didn't know the prices. 🤦 Well, I wouldn't recommend it. Incompetent staff + hotel manager

After a tiring day at Rulantica, we wanted to relax at the hotel. The room was clean, located in the furthest corner of the hotel on the ground floor. I looked out the window and all I could see was a parking lot. I thought, okay, once all the guests are there, there won't be any more cars coming and going. Unfortunately, it was the McDonald's parking lot. Constant noise: car doors slamming and engine sounds. I tossed and turned in bed. After two hours, I went to reception. The employee on duty that day (December 22, 2025) was very curt and made light of the situation. After a brief discussion, she gave us a new room. One floor, again at the very back. I looked out the window, and things didn't improve. This time it was the Burger King parking lot. Add to that the constant coming and going of trucks, and it was even worse. There was even a constant humming noise from the wind turbine. I didn't really want to stay, but my son was with me, and he was very tired. I couldn't get any rest at all. Room 3, Breakfast 2, Comfort 1 So, if you want to get some sleep, avoid this hotel. What annoys me most is the way they make fun of me.
