Great place great atmosphere great service!! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay over New Years. The breakfast each morning was excellent . The rooms were spacious and beds were comfortable. Enjoyed the quietness and peacefulness of the surroundings. The owner and staff went above and beyond. We will definitely stay there on our next visit!!

We've been to Hilltop Manor at least 5 or 6 times over the last eight years. After dealing with the crowds, screaming kids stomping on floors, power drinkers, and all night party groups that inhabit so many hotels in downtown Hot Springs we got lucky and found this place. We only had time for a short stay this year so on the spur of the moment we booked a reservation. We had no idea it had changed owners. We noticed some things had been changed such as door entry procedures and check in details but just figured the prior owners decided to make some changes. When we found out the place had changed owners we were VERY apprehensive as we reallly loved the former owners so much, and had always been treated so well by them. The contactless check in didnt help any as we missed Joanna's warm smile and sweet disposition that had always been there upon our arrival. Well our fears were set aside upon meeting April the Chef/ manager at breakfast the next morning. She was a delight! Super sweet, very efficient, and a wonderful cook. The breakfasts were different, but the same fine quality and just as delicious as in the past. The new owner Harry, is a gardener and grows some of the items on the menu in his own garden which is a plus. The grounds are still beautiful as is the house. Harry is making some changes to the outside grounds which we didnt have time to explore during our short stay but i understand it is to better utilize the property's space. The only change i wasnt too crazy about was their switch to a streaming service for the TVs in the rooms. We had trouble with a lot of channels buffering and not being able to see a lot of our old favorites there. Now for newcomers here. This is a HOUSE! A big ol' 100+ year old house on 5 beautiful acres. Its not a Holiday Inn or a Hilton. So dont expect it to be. It wasnt built last year or even since you've been born. It was built when people had to ride up here in horses and buggys. What is IS, is a beautiful, historic, stately home. Almost but not quite a mansion. A big home built when carving wood was an art. The rooms are cozy and the common areas are lovely and something out of another time completely. You could sit downstairs and curl up with a book and a cup of coffee and never leave the house and be perfectly content. It is quiet and peaceful. Just wonderful. So to close, Hilltop Manor will still be our getaway spot in Hot Springs. Special thanks to April for the delicious food and the wonderful conversation. You made our transition to the new management team easy and painless and we appreciate it so much.
