My experience at this hotel was disappointing primarily because of the customer service. The hotel itself is beautiful and I have stayed multiple times without incident. However this time a staff member named Carol (or Carolina) was rude, abrasive, and unnecessarily harsh in both tone and demeanor when addressing an issue related to a policy that had not been clearly communicated beforehand. Rather than handling the situation with professionalism or courtesy, the interaction felt dismissive and confrontational. I understand that hotels have policies, but guests should be informed of them clearly and treated respectfully when questions arise. Unfortunately, the way this situation was handled left a very negative impression and significantly impacted my stay.

Extremely rude and dismissive staff, specifically Carol. I stay here every time I come to Bogota, but this will be my last. This time the service here was shockingly poor. Instead of professionalism, I was met with indifference and attitude. Diamond status clearly means nothing at this property. This hotel falls far short of its claimed five star status and it’s not even close.
