I just finished my seven-day stay at the hotel and overall, I'd say it's quite positive. The property itself is beautiful, perfect for a peaceful getaway. It's quiet and there are no typical parties, which was a big plus for me. The rooms are spacious and clean, as is the bathroom. Unfortunately, on my first day, I found two half-opened bottles of water in the cupboard from the previous guests, which shouldn't happen in a hotel of this caliber and indicates that the maids didn't check it thoroughly. The lack of a hairdryer in the room was also a big surprise. In a 5-star hotel, I took it for granted, so I didn't even think to bring my own. Especially since the TUI offer and the Booking.com website list a hairdryer as a room feature. After realizing I had no way to dry my hair, I wanted to call the front desk and ask if someone could bring me a hairdryer. Imagine my surprise when the phone in the room didn't work. Towels weren't immediately delivered after the room was cleaned, and I had to ask for them. The most misunderstandings occurred at the front desk and in the restaurants. Upon check-in, the staff made a rather chaotic impression – the man serving us stopped halfway through to attend to another guest. So I went to another employee, who was very polite, but informed me that our reservation was… unpaid. Only after showing the confirmation from the travel agency was this resolved. Another problem was the delivery of bottled water to the room. I asked reception several times for it, but it didn't arrive, even after a long wait. Only the cleaning ladies, whom we met in the hallway, brought us bottles. The most disappointing thing, however, was the organization in the restaurants. The hotel doesn't offer an all-inclusive package, so you have to pay extra for drinks with dinner, which isn't a problem in itself – as long as the service is orderly. Unfortunately, it wasn't here. One evening, when we sat down for dinner, two different waitresses approached our table in quick succession, asking what we wanted to order. I replied that I'd just had drinks at the hotel bar and wouldn't be ordering again. Both ladies understood. However, as we were finishing dinner and leaving the restaurant, a third waitress ran and shouted at us in front of other guests, claiming we hadn't paid for the drinks. I had to explain the whole situation a third time, which was very uncomfortable and completely out of character for a 5-star hotel. Basic communication between the staff was lacking. Furthermore, the food selection is very disappointing for vegetarians or vegans. The menu is dominated by meat and fish, with very few vegetables, legumes, or simple plant-based dishes. Similar issues arose at the beach bar. One day, we arrived shortly before lunch, and one of the waitresses informed us that the kitchen was opening shortly and we could wait at a table with a drink. After a few minutes, another employee approached and asked us to leave, saying the tables were supposedly for those ordering food only. The whole experience gave the impression of a lack of consistent rules and communication among the staff. Fortunately, the hotel also has many positives. The pool area is beautiful – clean, well-maintained, with plants and a well-maintained surrounding. The drinks at the bars were delicious, and the hotel grounds appear well-maintained. The beach also deserves praise: clean and with sufficient sunbeds, although access is somewhat inconvenient. In summary, the hotel has enormous potential, a beautiful location, and excellent recreational facilities, but the chaotic organization, lack of communication among staff, and lack of attention to detail prevent it from meeting five-star standards. If the service had been better organized, the stay could have been truly excellent.
