Staff are rude and irritable, they don't even try to hide it. Pretty interior, horrible front desk attitude. I have a heart condition that prevents me from lifting heavy, when I asked if they could bring the package up to the room they said no and after I tried lifting it they told me to get a cart and I didnt get help loading the cart either, they could have at least have set the package on the cart when they gave it to me. Staff was not accommodating or welcoming.

Website is very misleading. While there was a breakfast buffet each morning, ($28), for the most part, there was no food available. There was a very small snack menu at the bar. The bartender was very nice, but overwhelmed with the number of customers and she was the server for the entire area as well as the bartender. One of the biggest attractions for the hotel was its rooftop terrace, which was advertised as a bar and grill on the website. When we asked about access, we were informed that it isn't open, "this time of year". It was 75-85 the entire weekend. As far as the rooms, they were very clean. No microwave. So don't bring back leftovers. Only coffee was in the room. Also, it is an old building. But the return on the AC chirped like a bird non-stop. Upon checkout when I informed the worker that I wasn't complaining but informing them, she asked, "well did you tell anyone?" I responded that I did not because I chose to book at an older building, but felt like they should know so that maintenance could take a look. She replied, "Oh. Would you like a paper receipt?" I just said no thanks and left. Multiple outlets in the room did not work either. Specifically both GFCI outlets in the bathroom. Great café across the street. Karl Strauss Brewer was very good. Water Grill is very close but if you're not a shell fish fan, like my wife, it's not the place for you. Louis Bottega is within walking distance and had a great pizza. Drinks were not unreasonably priced either. DO NOT GO TO CASEY'S IRISH PUB. It was dirty, smelly, filled with trash and the bartender, who was clueless about pretty much everything, said they hadn't seen the cook in 2 days and didn't know where he was. As for drinks, the bartender had no clue about their selection. I ordered Eagle Rare with a cube. I had to direct her to the bottle and then she put two pieces of ice from the ice machine in the cup. The guy next to me ordered a shot of fireball and she told him they didn't have any. He pointed out that there was an unopened bottle on the bar. Safety and security was not an issue.
