I stayed at this hotel with my daughter’s basketball team, and the experience was extremely disappointing. Our toilet stopped working, so I went to the front desk for assistance. Instead of sending maintenance or attempting to fix the issue, the staff simply brought us a plunger and left without offering any real help. I then had to request a room change. We were finally moved to a new room at 11:00 p.m., which was very inconvenient since everyone was already exhausted from the day. During the rushed move, my husband accidentally left his AirPods behind and did not realize it until the next day. When we contacted the hotel, the staff refused to return the AirPods. We were able to track them initially, and the location showed they were inside the hotel. When we spoke with the supervisor on Monday, 1/19/26, she said she would call us back. After she called and we checked the location again, the AirPods no longer showed up—meaning someone had turned them off. The staff refused to allow us to retrieve the items or even see the items that were supposedly found. Despite multiple requests, our belongings were never returned. This situation feels dishonest and untrustworthy. I do not recommend staying at this hotel. The lack of accountability, poor customer service, and refusal to return personal property are unacceptable

My wife and I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Edison, NJ while attending an event in the area and we had a great experience staying there. The hotel was spotless. The staff were incredibly courteous and made us feel welcome. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed... including a fridge and microwave, which came in handy. Also super cool was a functional, well-equipped business center so I was able to get work done as well. The location is also a big plus. It’s right off the freeway and within a 10-minute drive to a wide variety of stores and restaurants, so everything we needed was easily accessible. Overall, we had a great stay and wouldn’t hesitate to come back. Definitely a solid 5-star experience.
