Hilton Garden Inn Mardin

Having stayed in hotels hundreds of times, I can unequivocally say that the rooms are on par with boutique, third-class hotels. We went here for our honeymoon for the name and its location in Yenişehir. We trusted the name, but the location was appealing, so we made a mistake. :) *Cleanliness: The room was dirty. I asked for cleaning the next day. When we arrived in the evening, the sheets had been changed, but there were still coarse grass on the floor. They hadn't swept the floors. So, I decided to check if the room was truly clean (it seemed clean to us when we first entered the room, but it wasn't like we'd ever thought about it again). The seats were black, but I thought they were colored. When I wiped them with a wet wipe, they turned yellow immediately. There was caked-on dirt on the bed base, the headboard, the soap dispensers, and the door handles. The rooms are not clean and aren't cleaned properly. Staff: When we arrived at the hotel, the lobby staff weren't very attentive, in fact, they weren't very attentive :) I asked to change my room to one with a view, I explained we were honeymooners, but they didn't care. Normally, extra attention is paid at every hotel. We were told there were no rooms with a view, so someone called the front desk to make a reservation. The other receptionist said we had a room with a view. Of course, I hear the same thing from everyone who said no :) Even though they said they would help me, I didn't stay there anymore :))) We called that evening and said our room was dirty. They said there's nothing we can do at this hour and I'll submit my complaint to the authorities. I'm not saying this to the cleaning staff to get angry; find a solution. Because of your business relationship, I'm paying more than normal, and I'm losing money. In conclusion, the staff are indifferent. Our guests have stayed at different hotels, and we've seen some of them say goodbye to us. I can honestly say there's a huge difference. It's not that hard to leave two more waters, two more slippers, and two more towels. They didn't even include soap because they only had half :))) I've stayed in about 10-15 hotels in Mardin, and I can confidently say this was the worst. I was disappointed to stay in an old, dirty room and pay these prices. The best part is that the rooms have irons and ironing boards.

While we were on our trip to Mardin, we wanted to stay at a nice hotel. We made a two-day reservation, deceived by the photos shared, and arrived, only to find no one waiting at the door. We carried our own luggage and settled into our rooms ourselves. :) The bathrooms are terrible, you shower, the bathroom is flooded, everything is just a poor-quality hairdryer that's useless. In short, I stayed at a place that didn't live up to its price. Yes, Mardin and Midyat are very nice, but unfortunately, the only thing that wasn't nice was the hotel.
