Hilton Miami Airport Blue Lagoon is truly our favourite hotel, and this stay reinforced exactly why. We have stayed here many times, and it genuinely feels like home. On this trip, due to pricing and the CAD to USD exchange rate, we decided to try a different hotel. That turned out to be a huge mistake. The hotel we booked was so awful and unsanitary that we immediately asked for a refund and left. We didn’t even hesitate. I booked an Uber on the spot and reserved a room at the Hilton Blue Lagoon on my phone. Luckily, they had availability. When my mother and I arrived, we both started crying after the stress of the situation. Walking into the Hilton Blue Lagoon felt like a breath of fresh air after such a stressful experience. The property is absolutely beautiful, calm, and comforting. Everything is meticulously maintained, and the atmosphere is instantly relaxing. Sitting by the pool is our favorite thing to do, and it remains one of the most peaceful places we’ve ever stayed. We woke up at 6 a.m. to watch the sunrise, and even then there was staff outside caring for the property and keeping everything pristine. Every single person we encountered was kind, welcoming, and professional, from the front desk to food service. We have recommended this hotel to friends many times, and they’ve loved it so much that they’ve returned again and again. This hotel quite literally saved our trip, and we will always choose it whenever we’re in Miami. Thank you for always being such a reliable, beautiful place to stay.

We booked two rooms. One of them had to be changed immediately due to a terrible damp/musty smell. What really bothered us was that the housekeeping service did not show up for one of the rooms, even though we had the sign outside requesting cleaning. This was quite shocking, especially because one of the rooms was cleaned while the other was not. I repeatedly asked both the front desk and staff around the hotel to please check if the room could be cleaned, but by the end of the day there was still no response. Apparently, there was a mistake made by the front desk staff, which resulted in the room not being cleaned. This was very disappointing, as it shows a lack of commitment when it comes to handling a guest’s request. On the other hand, the breakfast staff was overly attentive to the point of being intrusive, and the expected tips were excessively high. I don’t know how it works elsewhere, but being expected to leave a minimum 25% tip seems unreasonable. Overall, the breakfast staff was quite intense and did not allow us to enjoy breakfast in peace. Plus, and the breakfast itself did not offer much variety. Additionally, having to pay for internet access in order to use it in the pool area was inconvenient.

The hotel is outdated but no issues there. My concern was an employee open my hotel room door while I was laying in bed . The hotel gave me a 35.00 voucher smh. The room had one wash cloth and no lotion. The food was good but my server was horrible.
