I spent this past weekend and unfortunately, the food here doesn't live up to a 5-star hotel standard. We ordered chicken fingers and they arrived burnt. We were also recommended the English pub, but they brought us breaded cutlets that were raw and black inside. We complained, and the same thing happened again. Another area for improvement is the bicycles, as they are in very poor condition, with worn tires and unmaintained brakes. We asked about the inflatables, and the receptionist didn't know where they were or even if they had any, but instead sent us to a lounge to see if they were there. Finally, I want to make sure the bill is properly checked before leaving, as they tried to charge me extra, and I had to complain again when the bill arrived by email. I will say, however, that the staff were very friendly, and the cocktail class taught by David was excellent, but aside from that, everything else leaves much to be desired for a 5-star hotel.

Well, it's a mixed experience. For starters, the building is new, modern, and well-maintained. The service is professional and correct, and the staff is friendly and helpful. So far, so good. The rest isn't bad, but it doesn't seem to live up to a 5-star hotel standard. I went to a "corner" suite, theoretically one of the best, with a balcony-terrace. Nice, but: there was no hairdryer, bathrobes, only two hangers!, not even a notepad with a pen, just one chair, no stool to put your luggage on, and no welcome pack with a menu, list of activities, etc. The bathroom is huge, but it doesn't have a jacuzzi. The minibar is empty; you have to go downstairs to get anything you want and then wait for a receptionist to bring it to your room. There are no bellhops; you have to take your suitcases downstairs and drag them through the parking lot, or take them down to the entrance and then go park your car yourself. The check-in and check-out process is cumbersome and bureaucratic, with long lines. There's more to it, but this is starting to sound like a book. Anyway, I had a good time; nothing I mentioned spoiled the experience. In fact, I plan to return, but this time with my family.
