I stayed at Hilton Prague Atrium for two nights recently. The hotel is very modern and looks fantastic. The inner atrium is truly spectacular, especially at night when the lights are on. Rooms are clean and have good noise reduction, which made the stay comfortable. Breakfast was varied and good, no complaints there. However, maybe I just came on a bad day, but the reception staff seemed tired and not very friendly. I was also not pleasantly surprised by the deposit blocked on my card during the stay. There was no information about this in the reservation details, so it is something guests should keep in mind, especially tourists who might have limited local funds. This was actually the first Hilton hotel where I encountered such a deposit. Another small but curious detail was the absence of flip flops in the room. There were bathrobes, but no one time flip flops, which felt a bit odd. Overall, it is a beautiful hotel with great facilities, but the service could be more relaxed and smiley. At times it felt more like military service than hotel hospitality.

The level of annoyance of the lady at the reception was amazing for a 5* hotel... If it wasn't a business stay, but a family stay, I would be quite annoyed. I just won't recommend it.
