Hotel is dated and dirty and in an unsafe neighborhood. They do a good job of keeping the problem folks out with security and a police presence but you can't step foot around the corner without encountering issues. The inside carpets in the hallway are stained and cleanliness of the rooms is not top priority. The front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Great location to the convention center I had a conference at. The hotel staff was so friendly and helpful. The rooms show some wear and tear. Great location to restaurants and Union Square.
