Hipotel Pere Lachaise Hotel

My stay at the Hipotel Paris Lachaise was absolutely wonderful and will remain etched in my memory. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with such kindness, respect, and attentiveness that I immediately felt at ease. The hotel is beautiful, peaceful, and full of charm. The room was comfortable, clean, and pleasant—perfect for relaxing after long days exploring Paris. The overall atmosphere of the hotel is tranquil and authentic, making the stay even more enjoyable. But what truly made this experience exceptional was the kindness of the staff. When it rained, they lent me an umbrella with a smile. I was also able to borrow an adapter to charge my phone, which I had just brought from the Philippines—a simple gesture, but so thoughtful. I would especially like to thank the lady at reception and the entire team for their kindness, patience, and generosity. Thanks to them, my birthday week and my very first stay in Paris were truly unique and unforgettable. This hotel isn't just a place to sleep; it's a place where you feel welcomed, respected, and cared for. I will cherish the memories of my stay and will gladly return. I highly recommend this hotel.

It's not worth even one star. They gave us a room they use for people with mobility issues, located on the ground floor in the open back courtyard, where the maids pile up the hotel's dirty towels. I should clarify that this wasn't the room we had paid for. And that's not all... The key (a regular one, not electronic like the rest of the rooms) for the front door wouldn't lock. So when we went to complain, because we weren't going to leave our things in a place we couldn't lock, especially in a foreign country, the receptionist who gave us the worst room in the hotel and surely already knew about the problem, expected my partner and me to wait for a locksmith to come and fix it. This situation dragged on for about two hours, with back and forth... But the woman insisted on not changing our room and that we keep waiting for the locksmith. I ask myself, what hotel in the world, much less in Paris, makes its guests wait for room maintenance? We were on vacation and wanted to explore the city; we didn't want to spend the afternoon waiting for a locksmith. This situation finally ended when my wife panicked, feeling a mix of emotions, especially helplessness. She started screaming and crying, "Why don't you give us the room we paid for so we can complain!" Only when the woman saw other guests watching the situation did she finally give us the room we had booked on the upper floors, with a balcony, a proper bathroom, and an electronic key card, as it should have been from the beginning. In our haste to move to the other room, we forgot a perfume that luckily was almost gone, and a Level folding comb. When we complained the next day, they never returned them. Honestly, that first-day reception was a turning point. We had such a terrible time that we felt very uncomfortable afterward and couldn't wait to leave. Anyway, I'm sharing my experience here because I haven't been able to file a complaint through my user's booking app, and I really wouldn't want other Argentinians who go to this hotel to have the same problem.

We stayed here for 5 days. Everyone was very kind at all times, and they cleaned every day. The location is very convenient, just a five-minute walk from the metro. The price was also very reasonable. We recommend it.
