Holiday Inn Express & Suites Memphis Arpt Elvis Presley Blv

We had a wonderful stay at the Holiday Inn Express on Elvis Presley Blvd in Memphis! I brought my mom here for her birthday so we could visit Graceland, and we’re visiting from Atlanta, Georgia. From the very beginning of our trip, this hotel helped set such a positive tone. At check-in, the receptionist Donna was absolutely lovely! Warm, kind, and welcoming, with such a genuinely positive attitude. Her tone and energy right away made us feel comfortable and excited to be here, and that first impression really mattered. The hotel itself looks new, well maintained, and very contemporary. We loved the blue lighting on the outside of the building at night it gives the property a really nice, polished look. There is gated parking, which made us feel much safer. The surrounding neighborhood does feel a bit sketchy, and returning to the hotel at night was a little intimidating, so the location isn’t ideal but thankfully, the gated parking definitely helped put us at ease. Our room is very nice. The bed is big and comfortable, the sheets seem clean, and there’s a large, giant screen TV. We couldn’t access Netflix or YouTube even though the remote has those buttons, but honestly—not a dealbreaker. We’re here for a good time, not a long time 😂 and it didn’t affect our stay. Another big plus is the coffee bar and hot tea that’s available 24/7, which we really appreciated. At breakfast, we had the pleasure of meeting Mrs. Duffie, who is truly a gem. She is incredibly hospitable, kind, and warm, and makes such lovely conversation. She runs the breakfast bar by herself and does an amazing job keeping everything stocked, fresh, and warm. She also told us she drives the free shuttle to Graceland for guests and will pick you up as well, which is such a fantastic perk. I noticed there are already many great reviews mentioning Mrs. Duffie and she absolutely deserves all the praise. What a standout employee! Overall, this was a great stay with exceptional staff who really make the experience special. If I ever come back to Memphis, I would absolutely stay here again, and I highly recommend it, especially if you’re visiting Graceland.

Nice hotel with good staff. Not a very big fan of the hard wood floors. Especially since you can hear your neighbors stomping around at 4:15am every morning

I have been a Hilton Diamond and Gold and staying in these Holiday Inn Expresses is causing me to change. This location has wonderful staff, even the early morning/over the night crew is great. I did not try the breakfast, but the greeting cookie was nice. I'd like it a bit closer to the airport, but they offer shuttles so its no big deal. FYI, the rib joint down the street offers free pick up and drop off in their pink caddy-suggest a couple buck cash for tip. The TV was large and easy to use. The pillows and bed were winners and I am picky
