My family and I stayed here after having trouble finding anywhere in the area that wasn’t full, Ms. Wanda at the front desk was very very sweet and kind and helpful getting a room set up for us. Will definitely be returning in the future:)

⭐ Review Title: Honest Review – Not the Stay I Expected (4-7 Nov Room 405) Wanda at the front desk was an absolute gem — professional, friendly, and easily the best part of our stay. Unfortunately, things went downhill after check-in. The room and hotel were dated and not very clean. The soap was watered down, the soap holders kept falling off the wall, and there was mold and a yellow film around the bathroom caulk. The base of the showerhead is rusted, and there’s rust in other areas of the bathroom as well. The toilet only flushes after holding the handle for 20 seconds (and usually needs two or three flushes). The couch is visibly stained, and there’s dust and debris in corners and under furniture, as if the room hasn’t been vacuumed recently. Even small things stood out — dead remote batteries, walls and fixtures that look “held together,” and several signs of wear throughout the room and hotel. On the plus side, the sheets were clean and comfortable, the refrigerator spotless, and the furniture outside the bed area looked recently updated, which we appreciated. The location was convenient — close to the highway, shopping, gas stations, food options, and a few places for leisure fun. However, it did feel a bit tight and claustrophobic for us (5'11" and 6'4") when walking through the hallways and especially in our bathroom. Our room (405) also had a strange slope in the floor that caused us to trip several times; we ended up placing a chair over it to save ourselves the inconvenience. After checking other reviews, I realized we’re not alone — many guests have mentioned similar issues. This property really needs a deep cleaning, an update, and a full refresh to meet IHG standards and justify the nightly rate. If these things don’t bother you, this hotel might work fine for a short stay. But if you expect to get what you pay for, I’d recommend finding another location to save yourself the disappointment. And fair warning — housekeeping only does a light spruce-up during your stay, and anything beyond that is done upon request. Side note: Wanda did send maintenance to our room in a timely manner to replace our remote batteries, but we had already used the ones from our “just in case” kit. The room was also out of “Do Not Disturb” signs, yet Wanda made sure we received a replacement quickly.
