My review is to warn about questionable financial practices of this hotel and absolutely terrible customer service. I was charged twice for my room (duplicate charges for ~$2200 USD). When I identified this error, the front desk staff asked me to contact my bank and provide proof. Upon doing so, the hotel still charged my card. I had to follow up over multiple days taking hours to help them do a simple job of verifying payment - even initiating a three-way call between the hotel and my bank which did confirm the stay was prepaid. Ultimately the frustrating part was losing out on time exploring London and spending with family (who I hadn't seen for 4 months due to work). I even suggested reversing the charges and re-charging on check out while investigating which was met with silence. The onus falls on the customer to figure out their bad accounting and spend the time to catch and correct their mistakes. This was not resolved in my time there and the staff are unhelpful and don't take responsibility for their substandard business operations. Financial issues were not isolated to my reservation. On a family members' reservation, prepaid breakfast was missing. I had to call my bank to reverse the charges, I would recommend avoiding this hotel.
