At first arrived at the front desk, where there were a male and a female behind the counter, busy talking and checking their computers and not even paying attention to me. The whole area smelled very bad after 15 minutes of standing, though they attended to me and I respectfully asked to see the room they refused and snd said they have nobody to show me the room I asked for description and they said oh it’s a very nice room and after taking my credit card and my ID and help me check in they sent me to the location which looked like a scene out of A bad movie is shallow pool with people sitting and smoking Arron’s it eventually when we found the room we walked a into a bad smell and odor of mold even of small reminds of insects lying on the floor respectfully we went back to the reception and asked for a refund they said there are no refunds We booked another hotel in twice the amount never stayed there and they refused to give us the money back I would be very careful to check onto a place like that think twice, and do not book and there an refundable reservation

Del Mar was wonderful. While check in is at 4, we were able to have our luggage securely locked up for a few hours before that. The room was large, clean, and comfortable. The location was perfect. Breakfast was good. Worst part was having to leave to go get it, but nice relaxing walk in the morning. When the key stopped working they were prompt to help and get us a new one. Late check out was also wonderful. We were able to get maximum beach time. Ive been to Hollywood beach 4 times, and this is the only hotel I would stay at again. Biggest downfall was while the room is prepped with a full fridge, sink, stove top, microwave, and toaster a few utensils already there would have been helpful. I know we could have asked, but it was just as easy to buy plastic stuff and use that.

Check in was chaotic. Need more staff working Great location , close to restaurants and beach but there was no parking available unless you paid for a permit . Alot of outside noise. No paper towels in kitchen. No cups or plates provided unless you check them out in the office. Probably would not stay here again
