Our family of four stayed here for one night at the end of 2025. As other reviews have mentioned, this hotel is excellent in terms of location, friendly staff, and value for money! ★Location: Located directly behind Ovation Hollywood, it's a one-minute walk from the corridor leading to Ovation's second floor. As the owner (?) who helped us at check-in said, there are no safety concerns. It's a two-story building with no elevator, but I'm sure you'll be able to manage. The building has an Art Deco, retro feel, and while it does feel a bit old, it's well-kept. My kids thought it was retro and cute, and they took photos of it. ★Staff Response The owner (?) who helped us at check-in was incredibly kind and spoke easy-to-understand English, which I really appreciated. After checking out, we explored the area, but there were no tourist-accessible restrooms in the mall, including Ovation Hollywood. Taking a gamble, we returned to the hotel and asked if we could use the restroom, which they gladly did. Breakfast was a typical American breakfast, but the female staff member was friendly and quick to toast the waffles for us. ★Cost It probably depends on when you book and the booking site, but considering the services and location mentioned above, it was perfect. One thing to note: I booked a room-only plan through Agoda, but they would have provided breakfast even if you didn't have the breakfast plan. I confirmed this with the staff at check-in, and there was a clear message on the display, so if you're booking, make sure to choose the room-only plan. The staff's kindness made my stay enjoyable. Thank you!

This place was ok. It’s an interesting property with cool room layouts, but there is a lot they could do to improve. Whoever cleans the rooms does not dilute the Pinesol appropriately. The rooms reek of it and the floors are sticky and slimy with the film of it left behind. The floors are also crumbling and the heating/ac unit grate flew out as soon as you turn the unit on. Breakfast is only bread. The parking situation is abysmal and expensive on top of an already pricey room. I wouldn’t choose this property again.
