Hôtel 31 Paris Tour Eiffel

I booked this hotel to spend 3 nights in Paris in December. When I arrived to the hotel after a long day of travelling I was checked in to a cold room with faulty heating system. The receptionist was trying to reboot the system or find another solution for 2 hours until he finally suggested to move us to another room just for one night. Next morning we had to pack our bags again, store them in the locker room and then move rooms for the second time in the evening. The receptionist working at night didn’t know anything about our situation and we ended up with keys for an occupied room with people resting in their hotel room and shouting at me for accessing the room. The receptionist showed lack of concern and apology for the situation after being made aware of what just happened. I ended up spending 2 nights of my holiday moving and packing my stuff, demanding proper heating conditions, dealing with incompetent staff and being shouted at by a hotel guest which is a very disappointing service for 200 euro per night. Apart from the location, the hotel doesn’t have any other advantages. I have also tried to contact the hotel support through email and I’m yet to receive any response.

Very rude staff. This was by far the worst hotel breakfast I have ever had. Everything was cold and clearly old. The bread was so hard that my mouth actually started bleeding. The croissant felt like rubber. To make things worse, almost everything was empty. The employee responsible for refilling the food was extremely slow. You basically have to keep asking her repeatedly to replace items. I have never seen this in any other hotel. And when she finally refilled something, she brought only one or two pieces, which were gone within seconds. Honestly, it was almost comical. The rooms are ridiculously small — it is nearly impossible for two people to comfortably stay in the same room. The bathroom smelled rotten, as if there were a dead animal inside. The sink is a joke: so tiny that it’s difficult even to brush your teeth or wash your face. As if that wasn’t enough, on our last day the ground-floor bathroom next to the breakfast area flooded. The entire floor was covered with dirty bathroom water, and we had to eat breakfast with the loud noise of a vacuum cleaner while they cleaned the floor. There was absolutely no consideration for the guests. The hotel walls are so thin that I could clearly hear other guests showering and using the toilet. The breakfast tables are also extremely small — if you take a juice and a bottle of water, there’s already no space left. I would never stay at this hotel again and do not recommend it to anyone.
