I have never been inside this hotel nor ever checked in it. I passed by this hotel once on August 5th 2025 by bus heading towards the court of Leipzig on Schongauer Strasse 5, 04328 Leipzig - Paunsdorf which I have never thought to be on the bus route. I know the name of this hotel from an article about the discovery of the dead body of a 31 year old mother of 2 children of Bulgarian descent on November 8th or Nov 9 2022 whose then 42 year old killer Danny M. was convicted on July 4th 2023. Unfortunately my search for the name and the birthdate of this victim didn't deliver the desirable information.

The pictures on the website are misleading. The room was filthy, outdated, and simply disgusting! No one could be reached at reception. At checkout, guests simply left their keys on the counter at reception because no one was available. All the guests were absolutely disgusted by the hotel. The "breakfast" was already half empty by 9:00 a.m., and nothing was replenished. There was no clean cutlery or dishes. We ended up having breakfast somewhere else. The hotel was an outrage and is absolutely not recommended!

I booked this exact hotel today on Booking.com. Four rooms. But it was listed there as the Augustin Komfort Hotel Leipzig. This evening, my booking suddenly disappeared. No message, no explanation. The hotel is now listed under this name. Something's not right here.
