The location was perfect, the service was great, but there was a lot of noise from people going up the stairs, the next room showering, the TV, etc.

Terrible experience. I booked this hotel through Despegar and we arrived in the afternoon with our confirmed reservation and voucher in hand. From the very first moment, the receptionist refused to check the voucher or even listen to the reservation number. She simply said it "didn't exist" and refused to verify anything. I tried to resolve the situation by calling Despegar's customer service from the lobby. They called the hotel several times to try to confirm the reservation, but the receptionist would answer the phone and hang up in front of us. Every time the phone rang, she made gestures and sounds of annoyance, clearly showing that she had no intention of helping. The situation was very uncomfortable. She kept us standing for more than four hours, not allowing us to sit down or even put our luggage on the floor. Her attitude was extremely rude and arrogant, with gestures and comments that felt clearly discriminatory and racist. Instead of finding a solution or verifying the reservation, the situation ended with the receptionist kicking us out of the hotel. Ultimately, Despegar had to relocate us to another hotel because they simply refused to assist us or help us at this one. I travel frequently and I have rarely seen such unprofessional and disrespectful treatment of guests with confirmed reservations. I strongly recommend avoiding this place if you expect even a minimum of respect and professionalism.

An affordable option, well located and connected. No frills, but a standard commensurate with the price.
