On January 4th and 5th, I booked a room and parking space. On the 5th, when I tried to enter the parking garage around 7:15 PM, it didn't recognize the code I had been given at reception, which I hadn't had any problem entering or exiting until that time. Since there was no staff at reception at that hour, I pressed the intercom to report the problem. The person who answered simply told me, via a screen, that "it won't open the door because I haven't paid for parking." I was very angry and told them that I had paid in cash to the person at reception that morning and that, if they had any doubts, they shouldn't have left me with my car on the street at night in the pouring rain. They tried to justify themselves, and I told them not to give me any excuses and to give me an entry code. Apparently, my tone of voice bothered them, and they hung up. I called the assistance number they provided in the email for emergencies twice, but no one answered. I called again through the intercom, and the same person who answered gave me a code. When I went to the parking lot and entered it, the gate still didn't open. I called again, and without any explanation, they gave me a new code, which this time did open the gate. On the morning of the 6th, I explained the situation to the receptionist, who was perplexed and couldn't believe what had happened. To make matters worse, neither the previous day's incident nor the calls were recorded in the hotel's computer system (she showed me the computer screen, and there was no mention of my issue). I tried to find out the name of the person responsible for the incident so I could file a formal complaint against them using a complaint form, but I haven't been able to. I will never again use a hotel from this company if they don't have a person at reception who can resolve any problems that may arise.
