During our stay with my partner, we spent four nights at the Baie des Anges. We had early breakfast at the hotel (brunch-style) and then spent the day exploring the surrounding area (L'Esterel, Aspremont, etc.) by mountain biking. In the evenings, we took the opportunity to discover the best spots in town. We were very happy with the welcome and the service. We took advantage of the Thalasso month in October to book our stay, which was a great idea because the price was really attractive. Without that discount, I wouldn't have booked it. The hotel is very well located, and the view during breakfast is truly lovely (overlooking Nice and the surrounding countryside). Our room overlooked the pool, which was very pleasant at that time of year since the pool was deserted. The service was excellent, and we appreciated that they allowed us to bring our bikes into the room. It's important to know that the hotel is very large, with many rooms, and even outside the summer season it was full (the parking lot certainly was). We were looking for more privacy, but that was probably due to the time of year; we hadn't anticipated the long weekend of November 11th bringing so many people. We were a little disappointed by the crowds, especially in the marine area. This area is very nice, the relaxation room is really well laid out, as is the fitness area (it just needs more weights...). The sauna is nice and hot, the hammam is large, and the saltwater pool is pleasant, but the area was always overcrowded. We enjoy going there at the end of a day of cycling to relax, but the noise and the constant presence of many people (who weren't very respectful of the facilities) were a shame. Perhaps it would be a good idea to limit the number of people in the area? And perhaps implement a reservation system with reception, for example? The brunch was great (it's just a shame they only offer smoked salmon on weekends... I'm a pescatarian and would have appreciated other protein sources besides meat, eggs, and cheese ^^). Special mention for the cookies; if they're homemade, they're really good (perhaps they could provide more information about the origin of the ingredients and how they're made... in a 4-star hotel, you expect to have information about the origin and production of what you eat ^^). In short, a pleasant hotel, a little dated but well-maintained, with a nicely designed marine area, although a bit too crowded, and a very good breakfast. Thanks to the team.
