Although the location is a little inconvenient, it is only a 10-minute walk to Kokusai Street and the public market (a 1-meter taxi ride). The rooftop see-through pool and breakfast are recommended.

This a lovely hotel that is very good value for money although more expensive than we would normally pay. We opted for a ‘club’ room which gave us access to a free bar each evening with various sake options, a beer pump and red and white wine. It also gave us free access to the amazing heated rooftop pool and hot tub. The breakfast deserves a special mention as it was full of delicious options both Asian and European. There was something for everyone and plenty of it. No one would go hungry here! The only negative was that the WiFi was not very good. It often ran slowly. The staff were very helpful and we met some lovely Japanese guests in the club area.

As a solo traveler, I always get a double bed and have to pay for two people, but it worked out (I stayed 6 nights) this time for about $55/night. Quiet and well-built! Unfortunately a bit of a language barrier. (Motorcycle gangs have competitions on the main street who can make the most noise. The police should deal with this and I don't hold the hotel responsible for anything.) How to spray water in the butt is in English but not how to change the air conditioning in the room. So I lie there shivering and wake up with a sore throat. Everything is in Japanese except for the anal squirt. The pool on the roof is a nice plus and the rooms are quiet. I ate breakfast outside, which was not included in the price. Cleaning was good. No TV or entertainment in English. Room 822 also had poor internet so I had to change rooms. Had no entertainment in the form of movies or TV unfortunately. Strange really. Most people have smart TV's these days or some kind of connection between phone and TV. 3 min to the ferry. 7 min to the Monorail. Miebashi Station
