My family stayed at this hotel, and well, I had visited it before, maybe 20 years ago. I know it's a bit old, I know it needs maintenance, but here's my 🌟: the lady started talking to my mom and told her that the hotel's origins lie in their family's move to Vallarta from Guadalajara. Her father started some ranches and raised cattle, but then the municipality told him he had to sell his animals and start a different kind of business—in other words, "an urban relocation process." So, they built 10 rooms, and that's how this hotel, now run by three generations, began. In fact, they even invited my mom to the lady's sister's 80th birthday mass because it's a business they inherited from their father. So, I think this local history, made by Mexicans, is more valuable than an "all-inclusive resort." It will definitely be among my top choices in Vallarta; it has a magic because of its people and their love for this paradise.

I'm not one to give bad reviews, because the staff was attentive at all times, but I'm only giving it 2 stars, one for the service and one for the low price per night. The bad thing is the rooms, bro. That mattress had more potholes than a neighborhood street, and I don't know if they had bugs or some kind of infestation because the next day I woke up with welts :C (if they were mosquitoes, the markings would be different). Another issue is the Wi-Fi, although there is, but not in the rooms, only at the reception. The worst of all was the bathroom or the drain. They gave me a room on the ground floor, and there were times when the bathroom wasn't used, but the little things from the upstairs bathrooms would fall in :C and stay there, so if you didn't want a bad smell, you had to go flush the toilet even if you hadn't used the bathroom. So, if you're on a budget and want to save money for other things like food, bars, sightseeing, etc., this is a good option. Just try to get a room near reception and not on the ground floor. But if you want a good night's sleep, I recommend investing more money elsewhere.
