Hotel B Unique - Adults Only

A wonderful hotel. The rooms are spotlessly clean. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the view from the balcony is stunning. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. The linens and towels are spotless. The breakfast is very varied and delicious. We also had dinner in the hotel restaurant that evening, and it was also delicious.

Utter disappointment. This hotel shouldn't even come close to being rated 4 stars. I stayed at this hotel expecting a standard befitting its category, and the experience has been frankly dreadful from the very first minute. To begin with, the doors are practically paper-thin: you can hear absolutely EVERYTHING, both from the hallway and the adjoining rooms. There's no soundproofing whatsoever. The overall condition of the room is old, worn, and neglected. The walls (white and blue, both in the bathroom and behind the bedroom) are peeling, with obvious stains and flaking paint, giving a feeling of total abandonment. Entering the room is like taking a direct trip back to the 90s, but without any retro charm: simply old, shabby, and ugly. The bathroom is another disaster: the sink is broken, and to top it all off, I found a hair on the first day, which leaves much to be desired in terms of cleanliness. The sheets had a visible yellow stain, which, although it didn't smell bad, is completely unacceptable in any hotel, let alone one that boasts 4 stars. Furthermore, the entrance to the room already makes a bad impression: broken floors, old and deteriorated doors, everything very worn and without any maintenance. It feels like absolutely nothing has been renovated in decades. In short: an old, poorly maintained, noisy hotel with serious cleaning and maintenance issues. It's nowhere near worth the price it charges or the advertised rating. I absolutely do not recommend it, and I sincerely believe its rating should be reviewed because this is not a 4-star hotel by any serious standard.

The hotel's location right on the sea is the reason I booked this hotel, and it was truly beautiful. It's wonderfully relaxing, and the sunsets are fantastic. The room was spacious, with a lovely terrace with seating and a hammock. Check-in and check-out went smoothly and friendly thanks to Marcela. David immediately gave us a warm welcome and gave us tips for the island. He easily arranged a car and a snorkeling trip for us. The food (except for breakfast) is good in both restaurants. The service and friendliness in the B hotel restaurant were good. Cons: = The breakfast. The quality and selection are poor. It's a buffet when it's busy, and partly on request when it's less busy. However, there's no explanation if that suddenly changes. Furthermore, the breakfast process isn't very smooth. You have to ask for absolutely everything: pepper, salt, spoons, sugar, and if there's no buffet, then also for fruit, bread, etc. That really bothered me. = Restaurant. However, throughout the day, service was slow and lacking, and the staff constantly tried to suggest tips. Asking for a tip while having to chase someone down to get attention, or waiting 20 minutes for your bill. The entire system of ordering, receipts, signing, etc., also looks very complex. The large staff are constantly behind computers and at the counter to handle everything. That attention could be better spent on service.
