Friendly hotel with a beautiful pool area. Reception is in a hallway, which can get congested for guests going between the lobby and the elevators. The lobby is cozy and appropriately sized for the number of rooms. It never felt crowded. The complimentary continental breakfast was in nice, but the pay breakfast at the connecting restaurant was divine. Reasonable prices and extraordinary ambiance with friendly staff. The hotel's location is a mixed bag. It's quiet being next to the park. There is a hop on/hop off trolley tour stop at the corner. There is a bus stop next to the hotel. The hotel has a complimentary car for short trips. However, it was never available when we needed it. The area is very walkable and we found ourselves walking about a mile to our areas if interest most days. There are many hotels close to the action, but those areas are a lot busier and noiser. The valet staff was exceptional. All were friendly and helpful. The housekeeping staff were working late each night. We asked for extra towels and one of the housekeeping staff came to the room at 9pm with her cart ready to restock the room! We also enjoyed the complimentary still and sparkling water taps on our floor. They were so helpful in refilling our water bottles before each day's outing.
