Hotel Bethel

Fantastic location on the harbour. The lady receptionist was very helpful and friendly. Room. We had a family room which was spotlessly clean. The main room had 2 single beds pushed together, the smaller bedroom had a small double bed pushed right up against the wall. It felt rather strange having my 2 children in the main room and me being rather squashed in the smaller room...not sure this really works personally. The beds were very comfortable. It was also strange to have no kettle or drink making facilities in the room. There is free tea and coffee in reception which can be taken to your room but our room was via 2 lifts or 3 flights of stairs. I would have welcomed tea making facilities in the bedroom. Breakfast. This is the first hotel lve been to where there was inadequate seating for guests. Some people had finished but remained sitting at their table for another half hour. We were a family of four and so had to sit outside the breakfast room in the hall, which was quite cold. There was a bar bench and a very small window seat. We all felt this wasn't organised well..if you're going to expect people to sit outside the breakfast room on stools then please heat the hallway better. Better still, politely ask people to move after they have finished so that other people can sit. I was also surprised to see no allergy signs besides the different breads. There is apparently a sign by the entrance door that says to ask if you have allergies, but l didn't notice this. As someone with a severe nut allergy l ended up having to avoid all the delicious looking seeded bread as l didn't know if they were safe. The 1 staff member was in the kitchen busily replacing food when we were there. Again, it is customary to have allergy notices beside foods in most hotels lve been to. That being said, if you were lucky enough to find a seat in the breakfast room, and had no allergies, breakfast looked good. The location is the absolute standout for this hotel.

Amazingly well located in Nyhavn. We were able to walk to everywhere. |We had an early check-in organsed and lady at the front desk (sorry can't remember her name) was super friendly. Beds were very comfy. Bathroom was tiny and the hot …

Good location of hotell. Walking distans to many places. Just about 800m from nearest Metro station. Pretty small room but I spend just one night so it was good. Breakfast was nice and good. Lot of different to choose from. Free Coffey and tea in lobby. Can warmly recommend this place.
