Judge this review based on what you want in a hotel. The rooms are very loud and it’s sandwiched in-between multiple rooftop bars that play loud music til 2am+. Our room was next to a courtyard where staff came to the kitchen and we could hear plates and glasses banging all night long. (Very thin walls and windows and no soundproofing whatsoever.) Location is great for beach access but you’ll walk through a gauntlet of shady characters and “happy hour” solicitations. Beach chairs are included but you have to carry them across the street and over to the beach. Not the end of the world but not what we expected. TV= good luck getting more than a few channels. There’s a lot of maintenance/upkeep issues that stood out in our room, including a shower that didn’t drain well and filled up during a short shower. Staff was generally helpful and friendly but this wasn’t what we were looking for.

Terrible experience. In addition to the poor condition of the room (it had neither a closet nor hangers nor any space to store clothes) and the bad service (out of 4 days we stayed, they only cleaned the room on 2 of them), THEY MISAPPROPRIATELY TOOK A $200 DEPOSIT THAT THEY CHARGED ME UPON ARRIVAL AS A SECURITY DEPOSIT AND DID NOT RETURN IT AT CHECKOUT (ALTHOUGH THEY CLAIMED THEY HAD RETURNED IT AND THAT IT WOULD TAKE 1 TO 3 DAYS. WELL, 38 DAYS HAVE PASSED AND THE MONEY HAS NOT APPEARED. THEY ARE NOT RESPONDING TO MY COMPLAINTS).

The room was spacious and clean, except for the window panes, which were probably last cleaned in the 1930s. A downside is the deafening music coming from the room below. The pool is barely larger than a bathtub, and there's a nauseating smell coming from some of the kitchens, and even there, it's poorly cleaned. You pay a fee for services that aren't provided.
