The breakfast buffet was delicious, and the service was excellent! The shuttle service to the hot springs was also a great plus.

It was my first visit and I had a very comfortable stay, so I've since become a regular guest. The staff are very polite, and the room cleaners are always very polite and greet you. While it may be difficult for a short business stay, it's great to be able to use the hot springs at the group hotel. I've been to several hot springs in the area, and the water quality is excellent, leaving my skin sparkling clean. The breakfast is also always delicious. However, the only issue, or rather, this is a matter of guest etiquette, is that I have often seen people secretly taking large amounts of bread home, which is not a pleasant sight to see at breakfast. They would bring in an eco-bag filled with plastic bags such as Ziploc bags and pour the bread directly onto their plates. As someone who loves Buena Vista and regularly stays here, I'm saddened by the prospect of these kinds of incidents leading to a decline in service and an increase in breakfast prices. I'd be happy to see some kind of improvement (though I understand that the hotel has no choice but to tolerate this issue...). The twin room offers a great view of the Alps, so I highly recommend it!

I visited this hotel on a trip to Nagano in December 2025. The name "Buena Vista" means "beautiful views." It's about a 10-minute walk from Matsumoto Station. Both the exterior and interior are spacious and have a calm, luxurious atmosphere. The staff were very polite and helpful. The room and bathroom were clean and spacious enough. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of dishes, including Shinshu cuisine. I'd definitely like to stay here again when I visit Nagano👍
