Hotel Casablanca

Terrible experience. When we arrived, it was so hot we had to wear short sleeves and leave the windows wide open. The sockets didn't work, the bathrooms were full of rust and limescale, not to mention the loose toilet seat. The shower water stank. Our hair was always dirty and smelled bad. We'd lost something and started looking for it. We pulled up the sofa cushions and found a used thong and bra. The towels they give you are torn and dirty. The breakfast was horrible; practically everything was packaged and they last who knows how long. The fresh croissants are rubbery, the cereal was the same all week; I can't imagine how long they'd been there. When you leave, you're forced to leave your room key there even though they have a second one...????...the mattresses and pillows are incredibly hard, the sheets smell strongly of smoke and are also dirty...we woke up with a sore throat all over. There's no closet, just a coat rack with three hangers for six people... half-painted walls, broken lights, the bedside light doesn't work; in fact, it comes loose from the socket with its wires attached, which is incredibly dangerous. The same goes for the sockets at the headboard, which are also low, so you have to put them close. You can hear conversations in the rooms next door, and even the receptionist, who is also shouting. The room itself was nice, but if you're careful, it's dirty. It looks nice... a terrible experience.

We were stuck in Naples as flight got cancelled. eeasyJet booked this hotel for one night for us and we had to book a second night as flight was in 2 days. We had 2 rooms for 2 adults and a child. The rooms were clean and comfortable. You were very central and close to the station. If you live in a city, the noise is average considering the location although one of the rooms was quieter than the other. It has the facilities you would expect from a 3 star hotel and it is a good value. It is a hotel to rest, recover and continue visiting/enjoying the city. Where we think Hotel Casablanca excells is in the customer service. Our return to London could have been awful, but the staff was very attentive and kind. I think they really care for their customers and do what they can within their realm of possibilities. TL,DR: If you are expecting a resort type hotel, you are in the wrong city. This is a good value hotel with excellent customer service for a short stay and discover Naples.

Excellent location near two metro stops (Duomo and Garibaldi Square). There's a parking garage in front of the hotel where you can leave your car. The hotel staff are very friendly and the breakfast is plentiful. I highly recommend it.
