The hotel is in a beautiful setting. The owners are extremely kind, warm and helpful – from the first moment we felt welcomed as at home. The accommodation is excellent, clean, comfortable, thought out to the smallest detail and with a very pleasant atmosphere. The food was absolutely exceptional – tasty, fresh, beautifully presented and prepared with love. Each meal was a small gastronomic experience. We would especially like to highlight the staff, who work at a highly professional level, but at the same time maintain a human, sincere and extremely pleasant approach. Their willingness, smile and care contributed significantly to the overall impression of the stay. We can recommend this place with all ten to anyone looking for peace, quality, exceptional care and real relaxation.

We've been coming to Serfaus for almost 20 years and spent our first New Year's week at Hotel Castel. We were thrilled from the very first moment. The welcome was so warm, as if we'd been loyal guests for years. This atmosphere lasted until our departure and still delights us today. It was the first time we planned our extensive skiing days around the culinary creations of Christian and his kitchen team, because every single moment was magnificent. The service team was incredible! Never before have we experienced such a personal and warm connection with the staff, in addition to their absolute professionalism. So, a huge thank you to everyone at Hotel Castel; you made the week an absolutely unforgettable experience for all of us! On New Year's Eve, after the nine-course dinner, we enjoyed a wonderful walk with the owner, Christian, who led us to a magnificent viewpoint with a breathtaking view over Serfaus. All in all, a wonderful evening with the guests and staff, which we're already very much looking forward to again this year. ... We recently had the pleasure of spending New Year's week at Hotel Castel, and it proved to be the perfect base for our winter getaway. We appreciated the convenience of being just a stone's throw from the U-Bahn station, offering quick and easy access to the entire resort. Alternatively, it was only a short, pleasant stroll to the main ski lifts. For those concerned about lugging equipment, the hotel provides the added benefit of access to the dedicated ski depot right at the lifts, making the start and end of the ski day wonderfully effortless. The accommodation itself was superb. Our rooms were very comfortable, offering a warm and inviting sanctuary after a day on the slopes. There are great amenities, with the wonderful on-site wellness center as a highlight — a perfect place to relax and rejuvenate with a sauna and steam room. However, one of the most distinguishing features of Hotel Castel is the outstanding culinary experience. Christian and his talented kitchen team prepared an excellent, multi-course dinner every single night. The quality and variety of the cuisine were consistently impressive, making dinner an event to look forward to each evening. While the facilities and food were top-tier, the heart and soul of Hotel Castel is undoubtedly the incredible team. The greatest asset of this establishment is the genuinely warm, personalized hospitality extended by every member of the staff. We must specifically mention Jozef, Evi, and Sabina! Their attention, kindness, and dedication to ensuring every guest felt welcomed and cared for truly make the difference. They went above and beyond to create a special, festive atmosphere throughout our New Year's holiday. In summary, Serfaus is an absolutely fantastic destination for a family winter holiday, offering diverse slopes and a wonderful atmosphere. And, without a shadow of a doubt, Hotel Castel is the best place to stay! We wholeheartedly recommend it and look forward to returning.
