The hotel is very close to the docks and other areas of interest, making it easy to get around. The staff is very attentive, the hotel is clean, and it has several amenities to keep you entertained.

Caza Hotel is perfectly located in the heart of San Francisco’s famous Fisherman’s Wharf area, within easy walking distance of many of the city’s main tourist attractions. Trams, cable cars, buses, and ferry services (including trips across the bay and to Alcatraz Island) are all close by. You’re also spoiled for choice with an abundance of quality cafés, restaurants, bars, and souvenir shops right on your doorstep. The hotel itself is ideal for families. There’s an excellent games room for kids, including shuffleboard, two billiard tables, and a pool. Plenty of vending machines and a snack station are available for late-night munchies, which was very handy. There’s also an onsite laundry with two washers and three dryers. For $12 per day (including two laundry detergents), this was great value and very convenient. Our room was spacious, modern, and very comfortable. The beds were excellent, and housekeeping did a fantastic job—everything was well maintained throughout our stay. The only downside was the noise. Our room backed onto a laneway at the rear of the hotel, and every morning around 5–5:30 am the garbage trucks collected the trash. We could also hear people walking through the laneway and cars speeding up the street, which led to some restless nights. I would recommend requesting a room on an upper floor and away from street or laneway noise. That said, I’d also encourage the owners to consider addressing this issue as part of any future building upgrades, as improved soundproofing would significantly enhance an otherwise excellent guest experience. The staff were extremely friendly and professional. A special shout-out to Aia, who really looked after us and made our stay even better. We absolutely loved San Francisco and, despite the noise issue, I would still recommend Caza Hotel as a great place to stay, especially for families and those wanting to be right in the heart of the action.

We are currently staying at this hotel and we didn't sleep all night! I'm giving it 1 star because of the rooms that face away from the main entrance. The problem is with the garbage collection! First, huge garbage containers were placed outside. Then people arrived who opened the containers, let children inside, and sorted through the glass bottles. And finally, closer to 6 am, a truck arrived and took the garbage away. Then, at 8-9 am, hotel workers came to take these containers back inside the building. ALL of these actions were accompanied by a TERRIBLE racket! I strongly recommend discussing which side your room windows will face. Otherwise, the hotel is very good, with friendly staff and an excellent location.
