I stayed at this hotel for two months during my business trip. All the staff's English was really poor; I couldn't communicate directly in English and had to rely on a translator. During my stay, I worked the night shift for a month, but the hotel only cleans rooms until 3 PM. This was very inconvenient for guests who sleep until the afternoon before leaving for work. The restaurant in the Lobby was very inflexible with diners. If you were even one minute past the last order time, they wouldn't serve you a set meal for that time. This was especially true for the older-looking staff, who sometimes showed bad attitudes and displeasure towards customers. This was a major turn-off, and it didn't just happen once. I ate there every Monday through Friday during lunchtime for a month, and I was often the only customer during that time. The restaurant didn't seem to understand the need for flexibility. I really hope the hotel can improve this aspect, as very few guests dine there, and without improvement, they will lose their remaining customers. The room was renovated and generally clean, but the bathroom was clearly old, though still clean. The hotel's location is very remote; it's a 15-minute walk from the west entrance of Taipei Main Station to the restaurant. The truly stunning view is only found in rooms with windows facing the riverbank during the spring cherry blossom season, when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom and you can see them directly on the riverbank.

I happened to have some business to take care of and stopped by the front desk. It was different from before, perhaps I should say luxurious. The lobby and restaurant also had a high-class feel, which surprised me. I glanced at the restaurant menu but was very interested. I saw a foreigner talking to the staff at the front desk. I visited in the evening, but it was quiet with no customers. What a shame! They have a restaurant with such a wonderful atmosphere! I thought to myself as I left. Next time, I'd like to go for a meal there.
