This hotel, housed in a restored former convent, is a true architectural gem that impresses from the moment you arrive. The lobby is simply magnificent, and the welcome is equally impressive, with highly professional service, especially at breakfast. A special mention goes to Claudine, who made both of our breakfasts particularly enjoyable thanks to her attentiveness and kindness. However, we were a little disappointed with the room. The high ceilings give it a lovely sense of volume and a pleasant feeling of spaciousness, but overall it seems a bit dated. The carpet and some of the furniture show signs of wear, giving a general impression that it hasn't been renovated. The bed was also a bit of a letdown: the rather soft mattress and slightly rough sheets don't offer the comfort expected of a 4-star establishment. The bathroom has a spacious shower cubicle and good water pressure, which is a plus. On the other hand, the space around the sink lacks counter space, which isn't very practical, and the somewhat dated marble gives the impression of a room that hasn't been renovated in a while. The room's amenities could also be improved: the small television with its rather mediocre sound quality doesn't quite meet the level of comfort one expects in 4-star establishments. Finally, the soundproofing in the rooms could be better. Fortunately, the restaurant more than made up for these shortcomings, with a perfect dinner served by Yannis. He was attentive to our feedback and took great care of us, making for a very pleasant and professional experience.
