First time we have been at the Hotel. Awesome experience. Excellent friendly staff, great service. Clean rooms. The Best in Town. Can't wait to go back.

Staff are uneducated on what the laws are for video taping from a public sidewalk. The entitled doorman who comes out and physically assaulted the law abiding citizens standing on public sidewalk and starts preaching about how you have to respect me shows no respect for anybody just entitlement. Then the demands apologies not a real good look for a hotel with two security guards standing there not trying to tell him to go back inside. Then comes out up does a fake apology after management told him he had to to only show his arrogance and his entitlement but still disagreeing with the people that they have a right to record from the public sidewalk. This is ironic that the building is named after the man that started the Detroit free press which is a first amendment act.

Wonderful experience with both Eva & Devonte! Had my wedding at a hall a couple blocks away & my wife & I stayed here for a couple of nights. They both took such good care of us it made me want to come back to the hotel just to visit them again & stay there. The abeyance was perfect & so was their staff. Thank you so much to the both of them for making our night extra specail!
