HOTEL DE LA CHAPELLE

We spent one night in this lovely establishment. The rooms are very pleasant and the bedding comfortable. The service is excellent. We were a crew of seven filming, and we were able to relax peacefully after our workday. A bonus was the secure parking for the technical vehicles.

Hello, The gentleman who welcomed me was very pleasant, however, the first problem was that I went through a platform that marked the hotel as already paid, except that, surprisingly, when I arrived, I had to pay for everything. Well, I don't hold that against the hotel, but I do for everything that follows. A small room, a single bed, and a small shower are fine with me, and I'm paying for that. However, I had to wait 10 minutes to run the hot water. What's more, one of the shower screens fell on me! The wheels at the bottom of the screens aren't in the guides, and when I opened the door, the screen fell on me. Imagine the disaster if it were to break, knowing that you're naked in the shower... Then there was toilet paper in the bottom of the toilet, obviously unused, but the toilet hadn't been flushed. The light above the bathroom mirror isn't fixed. The shower column is in average condition. Then comes sleep... I get into bed, and from 10 pm to 8 am, I wake up every 30 minutes because mosquitoes are invading the room. With all the windows closed, I must have killed about twenty mosquitoes... how did all these mosquitoes get in??? (I cleaned the traces on the walls before I left). Besides, I didn't understand. The room was cool, but the air was very dry, and the duvet was stifling (a kind of ultra-waterproof duvet that doesn't breathe). I couldn't find any other duvets or sheets. I manage to fall asleep after struggling all night. The next morning, I wanted to sleep in... impossible. I could hear people talking in the hotel lounge, I could guess what they were talking about... and sometimes they were even talking really loudly. Impossible to sleep for long. (A seal on the door frame and the door landing could prevent this.) The woman I met on my way out the next day seemed very friendly. Unfortunately, the hotel actually seems incredible, based on the feedback from many people and the setting. But my night was hell.

Superb establishment, unfortunately the establishment is closing, what a shame. Serious people who deserve a good retirement, loyal customers are now looking for a quality address. THANK YOU to Céline and Camel.
