Due to language difficulties, we thought checkout time was 3:00 PM instead of 12:00 PM. We were notified by email while we were out of the room, so we rushed out as quickly as possible, finally checking out at 1:00 PM. They charged us €50 for this. We didn't complain about the noise from the train tracks, which are only 2 meters from the rooms, nor about the towels on the first day, one of which was literally dirty. We also didn't complain about the card, which erased its information every time it was used, yet they still deducted the money. The staff was very inattentive, except for Alejandro, who did his best to get the manager to be more considerate. Another very important point: after 6:00 PM, the street is quite dangerous and cannot be walked around.

While reading some reviews I'm not sure if this hotel has changed ownership, but everything looks nice. Indeed there are trains pass by outside the window (though most rooms aren't near the tracks), but the double-glazed windows provided decent soundproofing (earplugs are also provided in the room). Staff delivered luggages directly to our room, they helped us carry our luggage upstairs when the elevator was out of service. I felt the staff were genuinely enthusiastic about their work and made an effort to help guests with issues, unlike most receptionists in France (unfortunately) who just go through the motions. The breakfast was also not bad (considering the price, and the lady was quite nice). The location is good too, everything was just fine.
