Hotel found through a booking platform, no problem there. The reception was adequate, nothing more. I had asked if it was possible to have access to the bar in the evening, which was confirmed. However, once there, with the restaurant packed on Valentine's Day, we only saw one waitress running around trying to serve us, struggling with the help of the receptionist… we couldn't get served at the bar, nor eat (we went elsewhere, to a pub where we were served well and quickly despite being full, just a few minutes from the hotel). The room was just okay, the paint was faded in places, the lampshades were broken, there were stains on the floor, walls, and shutter straps, and the bathtub sealant wasn't clean… on the plus side, the bedding was new (and very firm, but the pillows offered little support). The next morning at breakfast, the same waitress as the day before was running around alone, some tables weren't set and others hadn't been cleared, the buffet was half empty, and the food was just okay. Thankfully, the staff were friendly. How could the management of this hotel have planned for so few staff members? And from what I've read, this isn't an isolated incident… In short, I don't know how it got its 4-star rating, and we won't be going back.

Hotel close to the city center, beautiful interior with exposed stone walls and attractive furnishings. The Deluxe room was spacious but a bit basic and could use some improvements. However, we slept well. Contrary to some reviews, we enjoyed the dinner and service; the dishes were good and well-prepared. There was a wide variety of choices at breakfast.

Great hotel, thankfully there's paid parking. Breakfast was very good, but the rooms really need updating. They should include a bottle of water and renovate the bathrooms. The parquet flooring sticks out, you keep tripping over it, so it's not great for your toes.
